Across the prologue, you’ll witness his encounters with an ex-girlfriend running a café, a hotel that won’t hire him, a lewd librarian with secrets hidden behind the stacks, and a rundown pub that may just become his salvation—or his downfall.
As he navigates rejection, hard bargains, and strange proposals, the question remains: can he turn a crumbling pub into a profitable venture? Can he carve out a future for himself in a town that seems indifferent at best and hostile at worst?

- About 60 bug fixes: a crash in one of Poppy’s events, a character vanishing from the game, sleep and time-of-day issues, Emma’s library hours and replays, Essa’s affection, and a sweep of typos.
- Gallery replays now take you back to the right room, and the notebook no longer turns black after a replay.
- Translations: around 2,600 missing lines per language are filled in, so all 8 translations now cover almost the whole game. Menus and settings are translated too.
- Fixed some translated lines that could crash the game.
- Japanese and Traditional Chinese now use a proper font.
- Smaller UI fixes (the name box, characters fading in) and a “More Games” button in the main menu.
