I thought it was an issue too, but apparently you have to bring the other characters storys up to speed e.g Noamis story and the others will have to be on chapter 13 to further Raes story so, its their chapters that will continue Raes story.

NB: Am going to make to separate reviews one on the game the other on thus dream sex thing people are complaining about. So firstly its not completely dream sex if you payed attention you would've that he enters dreams that means that he physically does it. Idk why he hast to do it all the time to get these women to have sex with him in real time thats the devs fetish. Next thing the guy etherwalks when he does that his body and the person with him travels to another world so its technically real .... So if they were to have sex like the scene with him battling Rae and him winning the sex there is real. The thing is this type of lore gets boring and i see why the readers hate this thing because all you do is travel travel travel to get the story to be good so it feels like he dreams alot. I personally dont hate it but its getting kinda old
The game is good ngl the story is so long if you gonna begin it from scratch. I love the lore of the story but cant feel like the stories gonna end up shitty. The dev must make the MC break free from that house of his if he wants us not to get bored of the story. I feel like a more narrated approach would make the game better instead of this open world one because this approach makes the game long for nothing, it has useless content (more side quests less main story) . I know this dev is playing smart making the game long enough to milk it hehe, but it will eventually get boring with its current state. The lore of traveling across realms is so cool, if he can make the MC on a path to being a powerful magi fighting someone who wants to steal his power something like that would be great. This story has so much potential but we will see shit ngl i hope he proves me wrong takes a step back and reflects on his work if he does it will be in the top tier list!
