As far as she knew, the mc had kidnapped her. It kind of soured the first impression a bit.

That's not how I remember it. It was not misunderstanding, she only thought he kidnapped her at first. Then she realized he didn't know what was going on, she saw an opportunity to take advantage. Bad person.

The worst part is, she treats you worse in that scene if you are passive. If you fight her, she "only" punches you out. If you don't fight her, she chokes you unconscious. This is terrible traumatic experience (for people who aren't masochists into being choked). Not something you just forget about and move on and become friends after!

I just checked. Both old version and new. She attack MC once when she thinks she's kidnapped, failed attack, this what you remember.

But she also attack MC a second time, AFTER she realizes, that MC is not mage and didn't kidnap her. This what I was remember. But also, I found, that only specific choice combo cause her to attack MC the 2nd time. Be nice guy, but then hold ground when she bosses you. Then she becomes mean bitch.

If you do what she tells you, she doesn't ever become bitch. So is not as bad as I thought. If you make "right" choices, you can head canon that she's good, because game will not show her be cruel. Gives handjob instead, and then just nice ever after.

Moral of story. Don't resist succubus when she tell you get in bed. Or she show her evil side.

To be clear. Specific choice combo, if you are nice guy but then refuse to follow order, but don't fight her, she suffocate you unconscious. If you are nice guy, then refuse to follow order, and fight her, she punch you out.

It is weird, she more cruel if you passive resist, and less cruel if you try to punch her! Only way to avoid seeing character show bad side, is to follow her order, be submissive. I don't like this. My choice, to be firm and assert without aggression. But game punish this.

you're an idiot, her behaviour is pretty natural, and not even overly agressive - don't delude yourself, character is not ,,firm" in most of these scenes, only stubborn, like annoying child who deservers some disciplining. and that's what she basically does.

but yes, there are apparently better and worse choices through the game, and you can't just ,,play" any way you wish, without negative consequences, for both the score and story.
