My father was a dwarf so I'll keep this short.
The game's development has been ongoing for around 4 years. In those years, we still only have two cities, and hardly any storyline advances.
I enjoyed the game, but I removed my support for the game last year because development stopped entirely at one point.
Every update is usually new animations, or bug fixes/quality of life fixes.
I think the issue is the medium. using 3D anims limits the changes to vicky without overhauling the precious work.
As I've told many other creators of similar projects, you need to have good time management skills or your game's going to get stuck in dev hell. Focus on the main story first, then add new modules to overhaul the game instead of adding new features and fetishes mid-development.
Defenestration keeps hitting this content wall because they keep adding new shit which leads to them having to redo a bunch of scenes.
Just finish the base game, aka the game people paid for, then add new shit later.
