Maybe he's correct and the game is total shit. The interface sucks ass. Did the author even playtest this shit? Doubtful.
Does that mean I have to DL all the parts, or just the most recent one, since they're the same file size?
It looks great but what is it with all the bugs? There is a pause of 1-5 seconds before the game acknowledges the next click. Doesn't everybody have this issue?
Complete trash. The only way this game rated this highly would be if the author upvoted himself multiple times. Interface sucks ass, and you get stuck in long scenes with no way to cancel them, and have to wait for them to run completely. It will take you 30 mins to find your damn car keys and apartment keys just to leave your apartment, unless you have the walkthrough.. and you have to click on the stupid fish plaque to download it. Don't waste the several GB it takes to DL this trash.

I had this problem, but not in that scene. Saving and restarting can help. In the scene with $name at the limousine i found that the model was shrunk to a few invisible pixels that i could only find from ranndom mousover in the middle from where she should stand at. After i found that i clicked to start the conversation with the following animation running normally, then the model was standing there normally and permanently. The other model i can reproduce this on would be one of the dolls.
The game is very power hungry, you have to have a good system due to the graphics and interface. that is where the lag is from.
Second best game I've played so far on this site. gonna give this guy my money on patreon
