Aw, cmon, chapter 2 is not that large to complain about a restart. Btw, Renpy has done a major update, so no older saves work by system default.

You obviously haven't played all the content. There are 5 new scenes in total, including the Pornshoot, which is the longest scene in the whole game.
Some people are having difficulty because previous saves aren't working in this update. There have been changes to functionality connected to the phone, and this is invalidating some saves. The only solution so far, is to start Chapter 2 again. If you do this, there shouldn't be any problems. Also all of the smaller scenes are not in the journal. One starts at sex shop, one at Timothy's flat, scene with John in Anna's lounge, and Anna dildo scene by clicking her bedside table
The Dev switched to this style of game, because that's what his 1000+ patrons voted for. Only a moron would ignore what the majority of his patrons were asking for. I am one of his patrons and I totally disagree with your comments. Since Deep has been joined by his new partner on the project, it's been totally rejuvenated, and there is an excited buzz amongst patrons . In Chapter 1 this was a pretty linear game, but from now it will have multiple paths, where choices will make a real difference.
