There is no grinding in this game. Grinding is when you have to repeat exactly the same scenes over and over again, to progress in a story. What you're talking about is just the story between the sex scenes. Some have more than others. Don't assume that just because you want to only enjoy the sex scenes, everyone who plays an adult game has no interest in plot development. Most Patrons of these games, the people who pay for them, do have that kind of interest.

The game has been suspended, not abandoned. Last year the Dev's wife, who had been suffering with depression, tried to commit suicide by shooting herself in the head. She survived, but suffered considerable brain damage. Understandably the Dev has decided to suspend work on his game, to support his wife during what is expected to be a long recovery period from her injuries. He still hopes to return to the game, if and when his wife's condition improves sufficiently.
