right, ive always seen religion as a ridiculous social construct that serves no legitimate purpose (and dont say charity or some other bs cuz we have non religious charity, everything can be done without religion and honestly religion causes more issues than anything, fuck you bible thumpers), historically the most horrific human attrocities have been commited in 'gods name' (the crusades and salem witch hunts as major examples, and the middle eastern terrorist groups were religious zealots), so no we dont need religion and honestly would be better off without it (lets not forget the whole catholic priest bs).......and never forget who cults are allowed to get established and all the insanity caused by them (child marriage and suicides to name two that have occured in cults and this is documented, you can google cults and find their names and how they ended, several by police or fbi standoff, often resulting in mass suicide of the cultists)
