User account system is currently in public beta testing phase. Bugs, inconsistencies and features not working as intended are to be expected.
Is it possible to switch between futa and fully female? Or change the character's appearance after starting the game? Because if not, I probably don't want to spend too much time on this one.

I don't think so mate. For the public release versions the character you create on startup is permenent for that playthrough for now. But I I think its possible for the patreon special test versions. Its gonna be implemented eventually hopefully, we'll see.
Nothing worth downloading the game again. No nee race or NPC as far as I know. Best wait and let the additions stockpile and download after a couple of updates like I do.
All right, guess I'll wait for a version that has that feature (and maybe a few other quality of life improvements) before giving it another go.
