2. repeatedly attacked people who point out that "currently no" is not the same as saying "never"
3. outright refused to explicitly say "there will never be netorare in this game"

Honestly, the early comments were already a cesspool that had somehow convinced themselves that there's NTR content already in the game minutes after being posted here based on literally nothing. I've no reason and feel no need to defend myself and will let those that actually try the game figure it out.

I never actually specified the type of NTR I was talking about (being a relatively broad term) until the comment above. As I loosely stated stated in the aforementioned comment, netorare or netorase is not going to happen (not because I have this hate against it, but because it doesn't make sense in terms of the MC nor the story itself). Netori is, however, on the table if/when I come to a point where it would make sense to put it in within the story since the MC is kind of a selfish prick. I'm not going to lie and say that it 100% won't be in it when it could in some form.

Also, please understand, I wasn't actually attacking anyone. I was just amused at the irrational hate that rose from metaphoric shadows born from absolutely nothing at all within the early hours of posting and had responded with humour since the damage was already clearly done.

The hate is not irrational. About half the cuck devs are pull bait and switch. And there is a cuck mafia who threatens devs of wholesome games with review bombing their games "unless you make the MC a cuck". Then there are those cuck whales who go around to already established games and drop a few thousands to make the MC a cuck all of a sudden from nowhere.

If people didn't get emotionally invested in characters then those games wouldn't hold their interest in the first place.
And when they do get emotionally invested it is a devastating blow to get backstabbed this way.

While technically netori is a form of NTR, in many parts of the web (especially around these parts) it is often used exclusively for "MC is a cuck" and excludes "MC steals someone else's girl". Not something I agree with, but it is how it is.
So it is understandable if people took it this way.
