My friend IRL is a mental health counselor for children who were sexually abused, and she said that there's a big disproportion of them who are confused about their gender. So it's true. Childhood sex abuse results in much more chance of being queer in some way. Which means that people who hate on queers should be more understanding. But it also means the other team, the people who put trans queerness on a pedestal, are also wrong. It's a mental illness and should be treated, not glorified. And by treated, I don't mean trying to beat it out of them with a Bible.
