The game is pretty good, and is a good relaxing time, but it could use a lot more in the way of tutorials, as a lot in this game is not well explained, such as different ways of making money.
Normally Runey receives only praise and rightfully so. But after playing the new update 0.14 (check his patreon page) I believe some critic is in order.
- First of all his vocabulary in the sex scenes is clearly missing. Almost every girl is now wax in the hands of the MC and it is getting very repetitive, with no real development ("Good girl" - "I am so horny").
- Runey now wants to be a science fiction writer, but he reached the limits of his ability some time ago. I don't enjoy all the political stuff about the "Free the elves" movement and the long history of their mistreat through humanity.
Lately I ask myself: Why does he has to rewrite his old chapters so often? Well, because the rules of his worlds aren't logical all the time and he needs to fix them again and again. Another sign of writing overburdening.
Runey did some great stuff with his game in the past. I, for example, remember fondly the kidnapping of the MC through three elves and his rescue at the hands of Lin. That was a great moment.
But with 0.14 āHarem Hotelā took a bad turn. And I am skeptical that he is able to get back on track.
You wait 4+ months for an update and he puts out this bag of shit. He did it with the last update as well. 260 minutes worth of play, yeah right, I finished this ( without skipping ) in 35 minutes, finishing every character quest line. It used to be good, it used to be worth downloading but not now. Unless Runey ups his game ( BIGTIME ) then this is going to die.
Which in turn looks like the same male protagonist in The Headmaster.
These Honey Select games are all recycled trash.
I hate when they post nude photo on its preview, it spoils the fun and become boring quickly before you even play it.
this thing is pretty much dead already runey just don't wanna admit it to himself redoing events trying to make them better ain't gonna save this what he should do i sfind people who actually know how to write a good story bringing religion into a porn game never a good thing politics in a porn game never a good thing this bitch is dying so he needs to find someone to help with it and quick especially if this is the best he can come up with for the past few updates
