This game is incredibly fun. It has only one drawback. It is addicting. It is really hard to stop playing. You just get too engrossed in the characters and can't stop.
Runey cares about character development (the whole game overall). He avoids settling on lazy tropes as he meticulously builds their traits, motives, distinctions, hopes, fears, dreams, struggles, etc. Then there are the stories and world-building that receive equal attention. He has talent compared to other one-person developer in this genre. Whereas a person is great at framing and rendering images, but may lack animation skills or the most egregious for me, poor writing.
Yes, I know most don't play these games/visual novels for stories. But for me, bad writing just takes me out of it. I may as well go watch regular porn if that's the case. Because each part when done well enhances the other. Runey gets this.

My computer died and I just got a new one. Is it worth replaying the game for the new scenes that were added or at this point should I just wait for a complete version in case he adds more new early scenes?
I have to agree (after binge playing the game to completion). Runey is likely the best developer out there and that is saying a lot. There are many really good ones. No one can approach his ability to create a character. He is obviously a genius when it comes to understanding personality development and even the way the world works. Fortunately he has started working again.
