I don’t agree with those spitting over Kayden, sure he’s not the most likable character but he is not that bad and to nuance from what said the previous anonymous he is not that an idiot compared to our MC.
Also, don’t we forget that there is two Kayden, the one from the real world, and the one in game that we all know and that have had got his whole childhood rewritten. His new childhood (although sexist as usual) makes it such that I feel understanding of his temerity and hatred.
About his immortality, personally I don’t feel too bothered about it (although the story of his immortality is a bit overdone).
HOWEVER, the introduction of the choice of either we’ll help him or not is badly done, frustrating, and disconcerting. It insinuates that we are like the other bandits, it also seems to be a misunderstanding between their definition of "game" (since our MC talks from a player perspective), then we supposedly killed some innocent NPCs but I personally don’t recall having done so.
