Yes, the game is still a disasterous and unrewarding grindfest with softcore porn scenes, in many cases, stupid ones. Has always been so with no improvement whatsoever in sight.
I once played during the early development a couple of years ago for nearly two hours, nothing but continuous grinding and zero porn content. I can't stomach a repeat of this agonizing game, but it doesn't look like anything has changed for the better.
So you haven't played it in years, don't know what the current game is like, but you've given it a negative review - what are you? A rival game developer.
This game has so much potential. Please find a way to make it a little more fun to play.
It's a safe bet the game is just as bad as it was 2 years ago, probably a little worse so. Last I tried to play it, it wouldn't even install without an error and closing and the dev just sits on his page deleting negative comments, which alone tells me all I need to know.
