If you go far enough back in the comments, to include comments on the forums of his patreon, the dude died from Covid in 2020. THAT is why there are no updates and it seems abandoned.

Okay, so I got to the part where Lily and Carol talked on a movie night and once again the story is cut off. The entire game is a storyline being built up, then cut off before anything good happens. I am done trying to give it a chance. I have wasted so much time on it already.
If you haven't tried this game out yet, before downloading, be warned: The game is full of dead ends with storylines being cut off saying "Update in progress". This happens right before something interesting happens. The game is a complete tease on every level. also, no sex scenes. Maybe one quick blowjob and a masturbating scene. That is literally it.
The story is somewhat interesting, but cuts short on every storyline like a tease. I heard the guy died of covid, so the game is abandoned. That could have happened or it could just be an excuse to why they abandoned the game. Regardless, the game was made it a way that milks your time and interest. It isn't worth it, trust me.
This game needs a serious down vote, honestly. I think people just give it high ratings because of what it could be. People need to stop doing that. That's how you end up with highly rated games that are designed to milk people or get abandoned. There needs to be a way to report abandoned games on this site. Such a waste of time.
