You can execute the windows version just copying three files from previous linux dir to new windfows unziped one: libffmpegsumo.so Game (NOT Game.exe) and nwjc. Then just click "Game" and enjoy. I've been doing this for every new windows version.
it's just downloading the pictures of people and places in the game. but no game, just art assets.
