a proper engine is necessary, games made with an unknown engine is trash, any game that doesnt say the engine (cause its not an official engine like renpy or unity) is garbage (palmer anyone, his games wouldve been 100 times better in renpy), so saying the engine doesnt mater is like saying the the parts in your car dont matter (what are you going to use? name brand parts that you know the quality of or off brand shit that is questionable at best?)
from what ive read of the comments this game is nowhere near its 4.2 rating, more like 2.3 if the comments are to be considered, looks like the ratings were massively inflated, cuz this game has gotten a lot of hate for multiple reasons
