As I understand it, the mind power would get people to do things they normally wouldn't but, not something they would totally oppose. Though seems that opposition has to be really high.
It has a potency stat and often and option where to finish. I think this will eventually be something.
She is the one that likes you. Her friend resists going too far because the chubby girl likes you. At the end of the current content though you can break that boundary.
