KN = Zero choice
VN = A few choices. But in 90% of games don't change MAIN STORY.
Devs are slow. When the main story change, to much work.
The Way. 3 different storys. Path A / B / C. Abandoned.
Twists of my life. Finished. Lancaster Board House. You have a few paths. Completed.
Cliche "a lot of paths" game usually get abandoned. Because all paths short for a long time.
A few sandbox you can control a middle of story. But in the end DEV create 2-3 ends. And maybe not "your favorite end".
