Yes, and once the error occurs with Lily, other chests don't work either. Also, trying to woo Cecily adds points to Lily instead.
I half agree with you, the story is mediocre, but the graphics are good, and the cards are kinda weird but might be better if they were scrolls for spells instead of combat actions.
Yes, the cards destroy the immersion. Though lottery effects are good for replayability.
This is a rare instance where I think the game is better than the description. I didn't see a spectacular failure. Would be better without demons, but they aren't too hard to kill. The Surge ability is overpowered, makes combat too easy.
I could nitpick but I hate this game way less than most games so I'm going to give it 4 stars.
