It's not 14GB. That is all the various versions combined. Obviously you only download whatever version you're using
That 14 GB includes an compressed version which is 974 MB. You just download that, you don't download the whole thing
Unfortunately the next update which was due to be released this week, has been put on hold indefinitely, after the Dev lost most of his data. He is attempting to retrieve the bulk of it, but apparently at least 30% has been totally corrupted. This means the next update is unlikely to be released for some considerable time, whilst he attempts to reconstruct parts of the game that have been lost forever
A couple of hours into this game and questioning my own sexuality... 😀
