A LOT of really well-written story content (seriously the story seems to go on for ages whereas most games run of steam in 10 minutes)... of course you have to be comfortable with trans characters. The biggest downsides of the story are two-fold: the world it's set in is unrealistically, unimaginably both depressing (apocalyptic) and bizarrely, mind-numbingly bourgeois at the same time... as though the world could be ending and everyone would get more boring somehow; and you have such little control over your character's actions, friendships, or decision-making in any capacity. If you have a favorite character or love interest.... well brace yourself for maybe not seeing that person for 45 minutes at a time as you cycle through 12 other completely useless characters (or chores) instead. Maybe the game is trying to do too much... but the option to cut people from your life would be 100% an improvement.
Hard to get into this game with the lack of sympathetic love interests to choose from. Every character is crazy in some way, and one of the more sympathetic love interests - Claude - disappears mysteriously (off-screen) and starts being referred to in the past tense, then the game seems to be forcing you to move into some horrible prison colony city for the rich. Wish the game gave players more meaningful choices... you can dodge certain scenes if you like but you're stuck with the same collection of horrible friends and (mostly) useless lovers no matter what you do.
Good game if you enjoy this type of content, good stories... what i dislike is that the choices you make seem to restrict your content instead of opening it up.
