Something about the dev team trying to tackle different projects. I'm guessing they're planning on splitting the team in two working on two diff games or something. I honestly don't know, just know they started working on this game again sometime in July.

They're starting up another game when they were already taking like 6 months to finish a small update as it was. they've been on the tech update for what seems like a solid 2 years or more. seems to me they're just milking their patreons for what they can get
