My main issue is that the devs are milking this shit as long as they can.
It could've easily be a 1.0 release ig they actually worked on it.
But instead they trickle content and progress as slowly as humanly possible without losing their funding.
But then again every crowdfunded project follows suit..ah well.
I completely agree with you, I refuse to give anyone a monthly sub, I'm happy to pay for a finished product. You can't tell people how to waste their money though. As long as people are paying these indi devs will suck them dry.
I whole heartedly love this game and think It's a nice unique approach to the VN/sandbox style.
If you're making 5k+ per month in subs without any expectation or agreement to produce results. People are going to take advantage. Why wouldn't they? It's also why there are so many of these games that never actually finish. Even for a game like this to have the content that it does it shouldn't take 3+ months for updates. With the amount of money they make developing it's not like they are running another job, and this is just some side hustle. At least this dev does do updates. I've seen some that string people along with poor me excuses on why they aren't doing anything. It doesn't matter your IRL, this is a job and you should be expected to produce.
