Make a game yourself, small team or whatever you want. Needs to be in par with this game, in terms of writing and CG quality, and have it done in 5 months. Go on, I'll wait.

i have played 10 different adult games and this one is the best. The art is nice. Variety of shapes, sizes and different color girls. The story is hillarious. Especially that nun is very funny who tries to preach modesty at school, while she was having an affair with previous headmaster. lol. Just one problem that after 3 hours of gameplay, it becomes very difficult to complete quests. Then a player needs to study the game guide. But still it is challenging and fun. excellent game.
Even if I'm personally not happy that the intervals between releases are getting longer and longer, it seems to be normal. Whether you look at "Summertime Saga", "Where the Heart Is", "A House in the Rift", "Eternum", "Harem Hotel" or "Waifu Academy", it's actually the same everywhere: These games have been in development for many years. It's almost a bad sign when a game is finished after just one or two years.
There are reasons for this:
1.) Loyal fan base, the developer earns good money from it. He deserves it.
2) Complex Ren'Py: I'm not a programmer, but the bigger a game gets, the more difficult it seems to be to make expansions. If anyone here is familiar with the pitfalls of Ren'Py, I would be happy to hear an explanation as to why this is the case.
That's why I think it's a shame when developers like Altos, who do great work, are vilified across the board.
Wow 10 different games? I hope one day in my life time I will be able to reach such a number. What an expert!
