You are absolutely right, it is annoying and looks stupid.
It is a low effort method to get around patreon ban.
But they really could have just put slightly more effort into it and made them your neighbors instead. Then slightly altered dialog to remove the taboo aspect of falling your your neighbor childhood friend
It would have also made it nicer for people who are not literal motherfuckers.
They added a rematch with the same super dude that bullied you. You can now beat him up. Very satisfying.

Know what would be useful? The choice to avoid fucking some of these characters.
Seriously, if you're going to make some of the characters hideous balloon-mutants, that's fine, but the point of a game is to have the autonomy to avoid the stuff you don't like. Otherwise it's just a kinetic novel.
Also: need to work on the pacing. Too much, too fast, no buildup, and skipping too much of the story scenes.
