Damn sure looks that way. Not a single post on his patreon page since the middle of last year and that was something about a rule violation it kind of looked like. So yeah I think its safe to say it is now abandoned but I bet he is still milking those supporters that are dumb enough to still be paying.
Just an idea, but cant someone make an offer to the dev to take this (in my head very good game) of his hand and continue the story or at least make a good ending. I would have done it my self, but i am sorry to say i do not have the skills to do it.

Dont know any details but I know the dev has had some personal shit going on the last couple years. Id like to see someone take over and finish it but I think the dev may have disappeared.

Honestly i reached out to the Dev of Family Matters to finish his game but haven't heard back yet and don't want any legal issues. Is this one really worth it? I haven't had chance to play yet.
