The next update is some months away. I'm hoping for August, but September or October is more likely.
There's no indication that Elaine isn't the one who sent the email, but we don't know for certain why she did. Remember that a bunch of MC's friends got emails asking if MC could stay for a while at the same time Monica did. That's consistent with Elaine trying to find him a place to stay when the will conditions forced her to kick MC out.

Angel is No. 1 (but kind of lacks content), Lily is No. 2 (but romantic options with her got blocked "permanently" last time around, just randomly out of the blue, lol). The rest of them are either kind of OK, bearable, or even annoying. Though, yeah, Wanda is fine as well, but she is kind of on the sidelines.
