The game is developed using the Ren’Py engine and the graphics are created with DAZ Studio and Iray. The gameplay involves following the story and making choices for the female protagonist, Jessica O’Neil, a 25-year-old investigative journalist aiming to make a career at a newspaper. After working for a local TV channel, she seeks to have a more significant impact with her work. The extent to which she is willing to go and the methods she will use are in your hands as the player.
Set in the fictional city of New Port in the present time (2018), the story gradually introduces the characters and sets the scene. The aim is to create a light comic book world with villains and heroes, without delving too much into the realm of superpowers and advanced technology, at least for now. The narrative is told from the perspective of the journalist, Jessica. She lives with Conner Barton, 26, who has recently returned from a lengthy military deployment. Their relationship has become somewhat strained during his absence, and it is up to the player to either rekindle their relationship or bring it to an end.
