Love by the Water [Chapter 6.5] [CURE]

Love by the Water is an adult visual novel that balances lighthearted slice-of-life romance with urban-fantasy horror.

Synopsis

An avid reader raised by a fisherman father, Wake Shelley’s historically nervous disposition has left him too frightened to experience anything outside of his small ocean-side house. With any attempt at broadening his world quickly cut short by violent panic attacks, he retreats back into his room—into his books—where he knows he’s safe. But when the island’s local university decides to move its campus to the cliffside overlooking his home, Wake decides to give his most hearty effort yet to make up for lost time by pushing through his fears in order to attend.

Waiting for him is Lonely-Gale: a sleepy island shaped by quiet beaches, proud locals, eccentric traditions, and a sordid history most prefer to leave alone. As Wake finally begins building the life he’s always wanted, he gets drawn deeper into the island’s buried past and the plans of those seeking to exploit what makes Lonely-Gale special. In finally confronting the world he feared, Wake may discover that having courage does not always mean realizing there was nothing to be afraid of.
