The Witch tells about young man living in the city of Nevermist, located where the mysterious Misty Forest meets the high snow-capped mountains. His story was unremarkable until his father became indebted to the powerful and mysterious Nexus Corporation, and then abandoned his son and fled abroad with all the money.

Leaving protagonist with only debts in an empty house, the price of which is his life and freedom. In despair young man is looking for a way out but can’t find it because nobody in the whole city of Nevermist is willing to get in touch with a mysterious organisation whose power seems to have no limits…..

However, a miracle happens and he gets help. But the price of this rescue is high and he will have to transcend the usual norms and put on a face of a young girl. Having no other alternatives, he agrees and thus finds his salvation. However, the protagonist does not yet know that this is only the beginning of his real adventures…..

You start playing as an ordinary young man, a third-year student at the University of Nevermist, whose mother disappeared under mysterious circumstances a few years ago and who has been living with his father ever since. Immediately you find yourself in big trouble. In the evening, strangers knock on your door, saying that your father fled the country after borrowing a large sum of money from the powerful Nexus Corporation. So now his debt is passed on to you and if you can’t repay it, you’re in big trouble. Not wanting to become one of the many victims who have disappeared in the clutches of this business giant without a trace, you decide to actively seek a way out of the situation. And from then on, the course of the narrative begins to be influenced by the choices you will make throughout the game.

You can ask for help from your university friends, who will help you get a job in the company where they work. The head of the company is an old friend and lover of your mother, who, however, tries not to show that she has known you for a long time. Who is ready to repay all your debt to the Corporation, but in return you will be obliged to work it off in her company. Or you decide to ignore the warnings given to you by the people of the Corporation and go to the police for help. But then be prepared that you will be refused there, as no one in the whole city does not want to mess with this organisation for reasons unknown to you. But even in this case, do not despair, as you will be saved by a young handsome detective, driven by a sense of justice and tormented by remorse towards you for the failed case related to the mysterious disappearance of your mother. And offers you shelter from pursuit and her help.

But no matter whose help you accept, you will have to put on the appearance of a young girl for a while. In addition, you begin to have strange dreams in which you find yourself in an unknown to you but for some reason strangely familiar body of a young woman in weird places surrounded by strangers.
