You arrive in a neighbourhood where you know nobody, carrying nothing, into an apartment that isn’t yours. From there the game doesn’t hold your hand: there’s a map, there are schedules, and there are people with their own routines.
You can work at the corner shop and put up with the owner’s son. You can rent the empty unit down the block and turn it into a massage parlour — paying the deposit, the rent and the bills, with the real risk of losing it if you fall behind. And there are the neighbours, who aren’t icons with an affection bar: they’re people who open the door to you or shut it, depending on how you treat them.
Version 0.4, “The Shop”, adds Yanina, the hairdresser next door: eleven years standing behind a chair, a wrecked lower back and a mouth that doesn’t forgive. She’s your first client and the one who fills the place up if you treat her right. The massage session is no longer a menu of options — what you’re actually playing is the conversation. She distrusts you, relaxes, or gets up and leaves without paying.
Villa Nueva was written in Rioplatense Spanish first, then fully translated to English by hand — not machine output. It’s a sandbox, not a kinetic novel: nothing unlocks by clicking through.

The game runs on any machine from the last ten years and does not need a dedicated graphics card. Android 5.0 or higher, about 500 MB free.
Developer Notes:
This is the first Android build of the game and it could not be tested on a real phone before release, only on an emulator. That’s why there’s a “Report a problem” button inside the game, in both the main menu and the game menu: the player types what happened, hits send, and it reaches the developer directly. If the game crashes, the next time it opens the button offers to send the error details. For mobile players that button is the fastest way to get problems fixed.
The game is made by one person in Buenos Aires, Argentina. It is written in Rioplatense Spanish first and then translated to English by hand. If something reads odd in English, telling me through that button is genuinely useful.
No incest patch needed — there is no incest content in the game.
