Strive: Conquest is a sequel to Strive for Power, a text-heavy fantasy RPG and management game where you take the role of a Master building power, wealth, and influence in a broad fantasy world.
The sequel expands the original formula with deeper procedural generation, more character variety, additional races, a larger class system, and a wider set of management mechanics.
About the Game
Manage your estate, recruit or acquire characters, train them, assign jobs, craft equipment, explore dangerous regions, and shape your group into whatever kind of force you want it to become.
Characters can differ by race, class, traits, stats, background, and personal usefulness. Some may become valuable workers, powerful combatants, skilled crafters, or important companions in your progression through the world.
The sequel puts a stronger focus on systems and replayability. Procedural areas, dungeons, class combinations, and character generation create more variety between playthroughs.

- Added continuous crafting with an automatic stop once a specified item limit is reached.
Service
The service formula has been reworked.
- Base income from factors has been greatly increased.
- Sex Factor now improves sex service income, while Charm and Tame factors increase non-sexual service income.
- Characters with high factors can now earn considerable income even early on.
Added a new derived stat: Desirability.
- Influences both service types.
- Can be increased in numerous ways, with Charm Factor being its primary source.
- No longer directly affects character income. Instead, Fame now affects Desirability.
Additional changes:
- Estimated earned gold is now displayed in the service setup menu.
- Multiple service-related classes have had their bonuses redesigned to encourage more distinct playstyles and character builds.
Class Changes
Geisha
- Renamed to Courtesan.
- Now conflicts with Harlot.
Harlot
- Desirability is capped at 75, meaning there’s always a 25% chance to earn only half income from sex service.
- Performing a sex action the character is Skilled or better at has a 50% chance to earn 2–3× more gold.
Courtesan
- Fame can now increase to Level 5 instead of Level 2 through service.
- Bonus Desirability gained from Fame is doubled.
Pet / Natural Pet
- Grants additional Desirability.
- Natural Pet also improves the effect of the character’s Tame Factor.
Sextoy
- Unlocks sextoy service type interaction with custom formula tied to Tame factor.
Many other service-related class bonuses have also been adjusted.
Training
- Resistance and Loyalty purchases have been deprecated.
- Slave training has been completely revamped, replacing the old Spirit/Loyalty system with a continuous growth system.
Key changes:
- Performing actions no longer reduces Spirit.
- Instead, slaves earn Training Points as they progress toward becoming fully trained.
- Better performance earns more Training Points, which are spent similarly to the old Spirit Points.
- Loyalty-purchasable slave traits have been removed.
- Slaves that start with the Rebellious trait can perform any action after being broken in. The first successful training session removes the trait.
- If training goes poorly, you can postpone it, allowing the character to lose training progress so you can earn additional Training Points.
- Slaves are now limited to two proficiencies to bring their overall efficiency more in line with subordinates.
Subordinates are now unlocked through negotiation.
You can either purchase their service immediately with gold or receive one of several alternative ways to recruit them.
Relations
All characters except the Master now have Affection and Respect values representing their relationship with the Master.
Different combinations may provide unique bonuses and consequences.
The Master’s relationship values are changed through events and dates.
Daisy’s quest now checks Affection instead of a hidden dialogue counter during its resolution.

Added a new racial skill:
Universal Aptitude
- Allows Humans to copy one race-restricted class from a selected character.
Location Names
The world now has proper names for its regions and capitals.
