Battle for Luvia: Armored Romance is an adult historically themed game that approaches the dark ages in a colorful point and click adventure with war management, narrative battles and fullscreen storytelling.
You play the role of Sir Patrik of Akros, a charismatic, handsome and middle aged (for the times) Knight that set by bonds of loyalty and family to the new Countess of Kathia, is bound to gather the fealty of the vassals of his liege, cajole with the outer counts, and overthrow the Duke of Luvia.
It will not be only a path of conflict, choices of whom to trust and whom to make a head short, but will let the player enjoy the power fantasy of the Middle Ages, using the lesser and being used by the higher, both for power and for pleasure.
In your treacherous journey among medieval politics, nothing will stop you from romancing and lay with any woman that is put in your way, for lust, love or political interest. Not only nothing stops you: Is part of your mission.
MAIN GAME FOCUSES
Choice Focused Gameplay
In Armored Romance there are no gameplay sinks (grinding); Both the Story and the War management aspects of the game have been designed from start to finish to be choice-based gameplay mechanics that culminate in very different outcomes. Read the linked devlog for a bit more insight.
Custom Graphics and Unique Style
Most characters, objects, locations, have been specifically made for this game or carefully composed from ready resources, including characteristic theme-wise clothes hard to find out there, and specially, most of the characters. Game has been tailored to have a unique feeling.
Extensive Menu system
From a constantly updated Journal of your feats, as menus for tracking your relations, your completion progress of the release, your Romance Feats (What you lewd with Who and How many times), Inventory, Resources, an Army panel to keep track on what should be your priorities, Lore Database as documents that others give you or you will find… Player will be always aware of his progress and next goals.
Relations Ecosystem
Some coding love is applied and is going to be applied in more quantity to the temporal emotions and reactions of characters. Characters that know each other are aware of others actions. The linked devlog has an insight about it.
Historical Theme
I’ve taken care of representing historical High Middle ages, but with some concessions. I’ll go in deep in this topic in the future, but for now just saying that I try to make the setting feel believable.

0.30 GAMEPLAY NOTES:
-Following the main game Amibition Path (Blanca) doesn’t Lock you away other paths in the game (yet). At this stage, pursuing the ambition path is dip on it but not a full commitment.
But you can lock yourself of any progress with Blanca and the ambition path.
How to avoid that?
In the important conversation with her grooming the horse at the outer stables, There is a pletora of different results possibles based on many of your stats and allegiances; Even liying can give good results. But if she catchs you lying don’t stand on the lie and shift the conversation to keep her on your side and the path to her open.
Quickplay summary (Starting from a full save):
-You need to watch the scenes that were supposed to be available and unlocked as you progress thru the game. Those are a pair of George & Connel talks, and a pair of new suppers. Also, a first talk with Cam (1st). Of course, those scenes will look a bit out of place rushed all on a full save, but well, nothing of importance. On a regular full gameplay where you are constantly travelling to get resources here and there, it should be normal to unlock those scenes during regular gameplay.
-Exit Grassmere, Enter again.
-If the general progress is where it should be, this time there will a scene of arrival with Iva to Grassmere.
-Now, You have to end your pending important conversation with Blanca in the general stables zone (Don’t screw it!).
-Talk with Blanca at Clover’s stable (1st)
-Talk with Cam (2n)
-New “location”, Roam the Citadel to Find Tsveta. After that… “special talk”, talk with Blanca at Clover’s again.
-Talk with Blanca At Clover’s Stable (2n…. Unless you have screwed that path for the whole game).
-Talk with Cam for a third time….. After that, the Feast will be ready. Passing to night in Grassmere, will inmediately trigger All the Feast chain of scenes. So make a good Save. (well, it is autosaved too… but there will be another autosave in the middle of the Feast.
-Take popcorn, keep a free hand, and enjoy all the scenes.
AFTER the feast… if you didn’t fumbled Blanca… You still have two scenes to see (At Clovers)
With 0.30b, you can also have a second scene with Tsveta in the Restrooms.
About Grassmere Affinity:
In 0.21, you learn that Grassmere affinity would be related to the humor with the 3 “leaders” of the barony. For example, you learn trade could easily sway Tsveta in your favor.
Beyond that expensive endeavour… Grassmere affinity is more gained judging your character than legwork;
Along all the new scenes, many of the ups and downs of the humor of the rest of characters will depend on decisions that sir Patrik have taken along the game. Killed Baralis? Pacify the pirates? Tip Anibal to run free? etc. Lots of humor bonus depend on your current stats too.
