Cultivating Companions is a Renpy based adult sandbox/trainer where you spend your days getting closer to Okin, a wanted beast girl hiding in your home for safety.
Plot
In a world divided by power and blood, the strong ascend as cultivators, shaping the flow of heaven and earth, while the weak cling to the edges of their world, praying to survive.
You are one of the powerless.
A failed cultivator, born with abnormal spirit roots and unable to cultivate. While others climb ever higher, you spend your days in isolation, trudging through the overgrown forest surrounding the city collecting spirit herbs just to afford a meal.
Then one day, it all changes.
An announcement, a mad old man and a beast girl desperate to escape.

2 New Mira Events
- Includes a shorter set up event
- Mira’s biggest event yet with almost 380 new renders and 9 animations. This will be Mira’s first time and the first anal event of the game.
- I’m really excited for you guys to see this one, I spent ages on the animations and trying to get them just right. I’ve also fully animated the ‘climax’ of the scene in a full 20 second final animation for the event. This is a change to previously using a serious of still shots and effects for the ending of a H Scene. I think it works much better than previously and is something I’m going to be looking to do more going forward.
- You also get the introduction of 2 new characters. You won’t be seeing them again for a while after this update but you can get to know a bit about them!
Some new mini Okin events
- These events happen sporadically as you play the game, mainly just short little moments to make Okin feel more real as a character and flesh her out a bit. An example would be a greeting once you get home from working during the day. Her greetings change as you grow closer to her.
- These were a lot of fun to make and based of reactions might add more of in the future. There’s currently not too many of them, I think it’s around 10 including variations so I’d like to know what you guys think about them and if I should add more.
- Also added a new layer to deep chats with Okin so you can get to know her a lot better.
