I agree. Naomi is annoying, Cait is boring, and Yona has zero development and is completely uninteresting as a result. It's a pity that Azraesha has been relegated to the background once other characters began to appear and all she does now is tease everyone. Lyriel has got tons of needed character development and I really like how her personality has improved and changed.
But what the game really needs is some damn plot progression, because it's been stuck for ages now.

He was doing a great job of that up until the mid 3.x versions or so, then apparently had some crisis of unspiration (I have to ruin my joke by saying that's not a typo, because I know some self-agrandizer will point it out LOL)
