There's a lot of work going in the background. Mostly new environments and new characters. Each update still brings about 5000 new words and 200 new renders, and some animations. Yes, it's usually just a few minutes of game time as I don't like padding out the events or adding any event grind.
You don't really need to repeat many scenes apart from some focus/knowledge training to get to the end of the girls' stories. Barely any events have intimacy/lewdness gates at all.
