after testing it out for a few hours and afterwards looking at the walkthrough... i get the feeling that certain queststeps trigger a "point of no return" that force you to finish that specific quest(steps), and if you didnt do some other stuff to exactly the correct step, you "done fucked up"...

that plus the need to also grind up stats/etc. feels bad kinda... albeit i love the basic premise with all the stuff to do... i just hate time limits... without them, 4/5, with them... much less... you also dont get told if there are timelimits, at least i seen no notifications.

especially as some storylines are 40+ steps, at which each of might need another story to be played to a certain point... makes it super hard for completionists to do everything in a (not even sure if its possible) correct order (which figuring out from the walkthrough is hell itself...). you really have to study the walkthough, like its a bachelors degree test to not miss any prequesites...

Don't you thing the big ticking clock on the top right side of the screen was clue enough about time such as life itself is on the clock....I really don't think the day coming to an end counts as a time limit. Not to mention if you right click the info screen arises and stops time until you right click it off. perhaps reading the quest list as you go along would help..As a quest list is made for a reason. Kate's barmaid seen is timed and does take some work to ace it as I do. But been with this game for a long time and tried many different outcomes. Saving before you start a shift is the key then if you fail do it again. Hope that helps. I'm so thrilled it's not a Lazy'py game where all you do is click buttons and get dragged from place to place with no freedom of choice as to where you go or when...I will never understand why people like that so much...RPG=Freedom. :))

Great game, I wish Kate could make more than one visit at night, Bar owner/Traveling trader/cultist guys...Going into more than one room after her shift would be epic...lol
