There is a difference between movie-books etc and games where you makes choices on your own and tailor the story the way you want. It's no longer just watching from a 3rd person perspective. If you have ever played an RPG game like Mass effect or Dragon age; you know it's impossible not to associate with the main Protag. Now given these games aren't that complex, but still there are choices. Choices like suck that guy's cock; and you my sir make that choice.
