If his patrons were that bothered, they wouldn't be patrons would they? I mean it's not like they don't know, they can come on this site and download the game for free. So they must be Patrons for another reason, beyond just playing the game. I'm assuming you're not a Patron, since you're here and waiting for the updates is obviously such a chore. So he really isn't cheating you is he?
It doesn't have to be your girl, it could be someone you're interested in, but haven't yet got involved with. Basically any girl you fancy, but some other guy gets there first or fucks behind your back or takes away from you. updates are slow due to this site forgetting about this game not the dev, you can pick up ver 1.9.1 on his patreon and recently released ver 2.1
