If I remember correctly:
1. When you had the first oportunity to use Swyper, you need to success in the talk with C (which, obviously, is Cathy).
2. You cannot be on the romantic path with Josy and Maya. if it's your decision to stay friends, or they don't accept your proposition it doesn't matter.
After that when you will be with Cathy in the car when taking her home, you will have a decision to make, if you want to continue the "relationship" you started, or to end it.
But I will be honest, I didn't checked, what are the already in game scenes with her. Somehow from the teacher staff only Bella is interesting for me. So maybe someone else will ad something to what wrote here
