User account system is currently in public beta testing phase. Bugs, inconsistencies and features not working as intended are to be expected.
It's good but there's not a whole lot to the game right now so i recommend downloading this if you're just curious as to what the game is about and stuff other than that i would wait a few months or however long it takes them to update the game more and to add more story and scenes into it.
A surprisingly good game, if a bit grindy (though you can just cheat in the character stats menu, so nbd)
