Too much time spent on details, no time spent on actual substance. You have to go shopping, have to cook, have to eat. FFS it's like life. The UI is a clusterfuck of buttons everywhere. There's a button for everything in this game, except fun.

Update, I read all books, courage(badge with star) did not go up. Only the microphone one.
how do I get the "shield" symbol stats up? and the voice stats too? don't fully understand that.
I'm not sure about the shield yet, but I literally just saw that your voice stat increases with the first book in the library. Maybe the other stats are improved that way too?
You need to keep finishing quest after quest to keep increasing the shield/courage. There a detailed walkthrough availbale for download in this page.
It'll guide you perfectly to do everything you need to do.
