What is the point of using famous cartoon characters if they don't look similar at all, original artstyle works much better.

Because i've played the previous version of the game?. Ugh fine they do have the flair of the character they're obviously using also the naming is pretty obvious, i just don't like the current artstyle. pedantic much....
Copyright takes the game down. Copying original artwork can cause serious problems to the developers. There was a game which was forced to be deleted by it's dev after creating artwork similar to 'Avatar' series
That's why it's called "Parody" you don't exactly copy it yes there are some games that fully copy it but they won't fit on the artist artstyle so they need to change it

Well this game looks good but tbh finishing the first game would be better so he could focus on this game after nevertheless I'm not a patron so i can't complain
