this game has become an utter clusterfuck, everytime i load my last save in a new version the kim quest is no longer done and i get an endless talk to frankie quest.....not sure if im gonna be following this game any longer its just gotten that bad, either the devs getting worse or hes got a new team member whos fucking shit up, the relationship from talking...meaningless, the chest in meadow...dont think it can ever be opened, i literally spent an hr playing update and found 1 new scene
you have to stop using old saves and start new games. old saves dont always work on new version
dont fucking use unity, unity always ends up as trash, i have found maybe 2 unity games that actually work, the rest are laggy as fuck, crash, or freeze ur comp so u gotta do a hard reset cuz the engine stops responding, just stick to fucking renpy for a fucking vn game, vns in unity are even buggier then renpy vns, plus theres no scroll back option
he said that in the next versions will return to use unity, maybe it will turn out to be good
no it wont, unity is trash, none of these indie devs know how to use unity or unreal properly, theyre always steaming piles of garbage that are broken as fuck
if u havent noticed most unity games play like online games on dial up, laggy and stuttery, all cuz the devs think they gotta try and make the game for gaming pcs, but most people own generic systems, so x64 is too taxing, and besides their coding is horrid, if ur game wont play properly on a system that can play games like guild wars 2, wow, diablo 3 etc then ur doing something wrong, ur literally limiting urself on ur player base and thus ur client base, which is why i hate unity devs

It's not a bug. They just lied. Search the pool (not the shower) in the day (not the evening as Kim's stupid ass didn't clarify.)
Unity was buggy,
dev instead of continuing work on game, switched to Renpy.
Smart move in theory, as it is simpler to support and develop.
But never added any content (at least for a year) and kept renpy buggy as well.
Now, switching back to Unity.
I would guess, no new content just promises that it will become something.
Problem is not engine, dev just do not deliver.
