User account system is currently in public beta testing phase. Bugs, inconsistencies and features not working as intended are to be expected.
Unity was buggy,
dev instead of continuing work on game, switched to Renpy.
Smart move in theory, as it is simpler to support and develop.
But never added any content (at least for a year) and kept renpy buggy as well.
Now, switching back to Unity.
I would guess, no new content just promises that it will become something.
Problem is not engine, dev just do not deliver.

On android none of the animations show up

dont fucking use unity, unity always ends up as trash, i have found maybe 2 unity games that actually work, the rest are laggy as fuck, crash, or freeze ur comp so u gotta do a hard reset cuz the engine stops responding, just stick to fucking renpy for a fucking vn game, vns in unity are even buggier then renpy vns, plus theres no scroll back option
