There's a big fucking difference between pocedural geneation (which is, designed), versus neural networks.
You really gonna sit here and argue that procedural generation is a "Click button and generate" process like GenAI is?

I’m not saying procedural generation and GenAI are the same under the hood, but let’s not pretend either one is pure art while the other is “click to generate.” Both involve automation. The difference is in how you guide the tool. Procedural gen is like baking from a recipe; GenAI is like learning to bake by tasting a thousand cakes, both still make cake. Both systems are built by humans. Procedural generation is designed through code.
Neural networks are designed through model architecture and training data. Both let devs automate creative tasks like level design, dialogue, art, etc. Both can be used with care and creativity or thoughtlessly. You disagree?
You are highly emotional and the profanity is telling, I wasn’t trying to equate OpenImage denoise with MidJourney, just drawing parallels between automated systems in both processes that free up time for creative professionals.
We both know the value of human input in the final product. Both tools still require skill to guide and refine the output. But yeah, I’m not pretending one is the same as the other, just that they both serve to accelerate workflows in different ways. As a "3D artist" you are aware of this.
Also. AI (in forms like pathfinding, behavioral AI, and procedural generation) has been embedded in game development for decades. That's common knowledge among anyone familiar with game development best example for decades, Pac-Man. Doom, Halo and .No Man’s Sky. That's just spanning from 80s to mid-00s.
