Story
Your rough childhood is over, and you stand on the precipice of adulthood with only oneĀ goal in mind: To become an exceptional restaurateur like your grandfather. But for now, you'll settle for building a modest cafe.
Money is tight, and challenges abound balancing your dream with your final year of school, but with hard work and determination you know that you can build a life for yourself and the girls you meet along the way.
In Cosy Cafe you will develop romantic and increasingly sexual relationships with a number of girls, culminating in a harem that eventually becomes a family. There will be a particular focus on wholesome maledom,Ā and of course, there will be a lot of loving and kinky sex!
Gameplay
Cosy Cafe is more story than game, with choices mostly limited to interaction in sexual encounters. Expect a slice of life story with drama here and there, plenty of cute girls to make yours, and relationships that develop over time.

A great VN that shouldn't be missed for quite some while.
Models are wonderful, can see the small details that makes it stand out from other games. Plot is great, with quite a lot of schemes and faction politics towards the later days. Characters are well presented. Not too many sex scenes, but they come in at a good pace Kinks and fetishes are well distributed, though it's a bit too much spanking to my taste. A solid 4.5/5 for me, would definitely wait for later updates. Well done, and keep it up!

The first 30 minutes gives off such a strong serial killer/rapist vibe, that I struggle to accept that the mc is actually a decent person.

I don't know what it is. I know, intellectually, that the mc is a good guy. But I still half expected him to drug Lucy's food that first time. He was way too accepting of her intruding on his home and business, so I guess I'm expecting an ulterior motive.
That says more about you than either the MC or the writers of the game. Dude saw a girl in shabby clothes and who's clearly kinda freaked out. That'd trigger just about anyone's empathy instincts, so of course he acts nicely to her.

Nah actually I kind of get where he is coming from. Of course in a game you would want to protecc the LI, but really think about it IRL if you just came to a new place and some chick was casually walking around it. Could be a crack head or something, you don't know. Most people might help her out, but not be so open with her like that.
I'm almost in awe of how gripping this game is. Even despite the weird mixing of UK and US aspects (sometimes characters say "arse", other times "ass", and at one point a character talks about money and uses British pounds, yet the bills have old Benjamin and $100 printed on them) and the kind of poor facial expressions (aside from blushing, characters rarely truly emote in the game), the writing and character interactions are so vivid that it almost feels real in a sense, especially the romance parts.
Yeah, the game won't be scratching any "instant gratification/straight to fapping" itches, and the lack of player choice is a bit grating at times, it's still a highly enjoyable story with some pretty decent erotic content. And the animations are top notch to boot. Really smooth stuff! Not to mention how the MC is a smartly and sharply written guy with a simple relatable goal and story in life, which is always a plus.
All in all, if you like a good story then try out Cosy CafƩ!
