Try using space after typing your name and use backspace to delete the space and then click enter. It worked for me sometimes.
Renpy game. it has background pictures but instead of character pictures you get text descriptions of them. it works out surprisingly well.
Pretty interesting story. Unfortunately grindy
I'm working on the potentially grindy aspects, I promise. It's absolutely NOT supposed to be grindy, but balance is hard. In the meantime, easy mode (in options) triples all xp/affection/trust!
